I have composed and arranged music for most of my life. Much of this has been sacred music for choir and organ. Music was my passion while I pursued a career as a software project manager and raised my family.
Education
- Graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Music degree in theory/composition in 1979. Studied with James Ming and Steven Stucky.
- Graduate work in choral conducting at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music, 1980.
- Graduate work in music theory at the University of Minnesota, 1982–1983.

- St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church – St. Paul, MN – choir 2003–2011 and 2025 to present. Vestry member and Music Commission chair, 2005–2008.
